Look, I’m all for science and math and all that, they’re fantastic subjects, they really help us develop as a species, etc, etc. 

BUT

The humanities become more and more neglected every year. And they are equally important and deserve as much attention and funding. They are as much an important component of the human experience as scientific pursuits.

I’m just sayin. Not particularly eloquently, but I am sayin.
